| This
course focuses on the fact that forested wetlands are dominated
primarily by plants that are not water tolerant and the problem of growing wetland trees.
We will discuss ways of dealing with hydrology and horticultural issues
and other problems in wetland forest restoration including soils, hydrologic models, herbivory, and competition from weedy and invasive
species. This course may be difficult to complete without a broadband internet
connection.
