Section 1 - Basics of Forested Wetland Construction and Restoration

This course focuses on the fact that forested wetlands are dominated primarily by plants that are not water tolerant and the problem of growing wetland trees.   We will discuss ways of dealing with hydrology and horticultural issues and other problems in wetland forest restoration including soils, hydrologic models, herbivory, and competition from weedy and invasive species.

This course may be difficult to complete without a broadband internet connection.
