Nationwide Permits

2 Days - $550

“This class should be mandatory for anyone conducting NW permitting because it is so helpful...Will be especially helpful in communicating with ACOE and identifying best NWP for future projects and maintenance.”

Erin - Orange, CA

The NWPs were published in 2007 and will remain in effect until 2012. This course covers the regulations governing the issuance and application of the Nationwide Permits, the permits and conditions themselves, definitions, and little known Corps guidance that clarifies many common questions that arise in application of the NWPs to routine projects. A firm grasp of federal wetland/waters policy is a must for this course.  95% of all activities authorized by the Corps come under Nationwide or other general permits. You need to know them!

Need more Policy background?  Sign up for Federal Wetland/Waters Regulatory Policy. which includes the NWP course as well as a thorough grounding in US Corps if Engineers regulatory policy, Nationwide Permits Complete 2007 (book) and Lecture notes are provided.  Class ends at 5:00 p.m. on the last day.

The instructors for this course are R. Pierce and Sam Collinson.
